On December 22 David Boreanaz and the other folks from CBS's SEAL Team will visit TPiP. It's for a good cause: mental health care for post-9/11 veterans and their families. There will be plenty of active duty military and veterans in the studio audience.
The following night Seth Rogen will show up for another charity doing Alzheimer's research and support. The linked story makes the inevitable stoner reference to Mr. Rogen. There's also a promise of further TPiR prime time specials in 2020. CBS must figure that they've got the set and crew ready to turn out as many special eps as the Nielsen Company will bear.
CBS has tried intermittent prime time shows for The Price is Right over the years. But it's been a while since the last three specials in May, 2016.
