A couple posts ago I wrote about yesterday's Buzzr stunt with game show bloopers.
As usual, I had to reference the Buzzr Facebook page, because rarely does our little oldies diginet get a mention on other sites. But the bloopers stunt somehow did receive a notice on a site called Vents. No, I had never heard of it, either, but Google News gives a link.
The story hopes that the bloopers marathon won't be "mean spirited," though people always laugh at silly goofs by civvies, celebs and hosts. Sadly, the story itself contains a blooper. The writer wants to see "a certain infamous clip from The Newlywed Game."
No doubt he's referring to the in-the-bun (more or less) comment. But I'm afraid I'll have to give the standard correction. Newlywed Game is not a Fremantle show, and Buzzr hardly ever leases shows from other libraries. This common mistake shows how little the great wide media world knows or notices the diginet.
