One of those shows was Ellen's Game of Games. A Canadian couple, Milos Savic and Elise LeBlanc, taped their episode with the ever-present Ms. DeGeneres last June. Back then nobody worried about the Wuhan virus because nobody had ever heard of it, even in Wuhan.
The linked story reads like a fable from a lost world. There's not a single mention of the virus, social distancing, stay-at-home orders, or we're-all-gonna-die apocalypses. Instead, Elsie LeBlanc burbles about how she's "seriously been Ellen DeGeneres' biggest fan ever since I can remember."
The story also says the couple were the first to play Dirty Laundry, one of the goofier stunts on the show. Ah, the good old days.
