The Ferrari F8 Tributo is out of the price range for most of us but for $20, anyone can buy the next best thing; a Lego Speed Champions model of the F8 Tributo.
Lego’s Ferrari F8 Tributo is made up of 275 individual pieces and measures a little over 1 inch (2.54 cm) tall, is 5 inches long (12.7 cm), and 3 inches (7.62 cm) wide. Curiously, the Lego website also lists the height as “over” 4 cm and the length at 15 cm, so we’re not sure whether to believe the measurements in inches or centimeters. Either way, the model isn’t very big.
Full building instructions are available online in a 70-page PDF.
It’s been roughly 11 months since the Ferrari F8 Tributo premiered at last year’s Geneva Motor Show. While the car has been promoted as all-new, it uses the same basic platform as the 458 Italia and 488 GTB while also featuring a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 delivering 710 hp and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) that’s virtually identical to what the 488 Pista used.

Ferrari says its latest mid-engined V8 supercar (excluding the SF90 Stradale) will power through to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a mere 2.9 seconds, pass 124 mph (200 km/h) in 7.8 seconds, and tops out at 211 mph (340 km/h).
In the U.S., buying a brand new Ferrari F8 Tributo will set back buyers at least $293,480. That’s a huge amount of money and far more than most of us can afford. But, for just $20, this Lego model is the next best thing.
