I'm still grumpily indifferent to the pure chance format, but it's nice to see the PYL reboot enjoying some success. Nowadays it seems like almost every game show story leads back to ABC. Elizabeth Banks and her version of PYL did some good business for the network last summer.
Speaking of Elizabeth, the site confirms that she will return as the host of the show. I had just assumed that all the hosts of ABC's reboots would come back, but the network made something of a big deal about Joel McHale returning on Card Sharks. So it looks like Elizabeth is safely in the fold for the second season of Press Your Luck. She can use a little luck (sorry) after the flop of her Charlie's Angels movie.
