Distant Stars - "LLemanja" (video) [Threshold Premiere]

Less than a year after the stunning Robots EP the duo Distant Stars are back in business with their second LP, The Tides, expected to surprise you in less than a week! Divided between Melbourne and Caen the duo once meet at a party under a Cathedral in Normandy and decided to create Distant Stars, a trans-global project that will certainly bring you trouble falling asleep. To anticipate this release Distant Stars is premiering today the first video for "LLemanja", a weird dreamy-influenced track full of psychotic ambiances and the minimal wave rhythms. You can watch the video for "LLemanja" first-hand right now.

Distant Stars got their name influenced by a track from the ULTRAVOX's tune "Hiroshima Mon Amour" where we can listen to "somehow we drifted off too far, communicate like distant stars", similar to the concept that raised Distant Stars as a musical project. Their new album, The Tides, brings us 10 tracks that sound primal and sophisticated, constructed under a contemporary bass throb, retro synth and those timeless vocals unbound by language or other useless constraints. The result is both a powerful and contemplative release that will definitely blow your mind.

The Tides is out on December, 11th through Detonic Recordings and it will be available in cassette and CD. You can pre-order the album here.
