Plainbow are an alternative shoegaze band from Hertfordshire, England, formed in 2019 by Olly Samuel (drums), Ben Pidgeon (bass) and Seb Pidgeon (vocals, guitar). Influenced by classic shoegazing bands as well as post-rock and prog rock, they aim to forge a new path instead of retreading old ground. After publishing two tracks on Bandcamp under the moniker Rocket Falls, the band decided to change their name. Super Super Super is their debut EP.
This release includes four dreamy tracks with a tight rhytmic section and ethereal soundscapes created by the guitars. If you're a fan of bands like Slowdive, Swervedriver and Ringo Deathstarr, don't let songs like "Distemper" and "We Are the Earth You Are the Air" go unnoticed.
Super Super Super is out on November 8th on tape (run of 70 transparent blue tapes) and digital. It will be released via Hidden Bay Records . You can stream it here:
