A contestant named Denise Leveque won the showcase on Bob Barker's final ep of The Price is Right in 2007. This got some notice in the local news as Denise gurgled about being a part of game show history.
Fast forward to 2019 and Denise Leveque is in the news for a grimmer reason. She's accused of stabbing her husband in the back with a steak knife after an argument. The alleged assault occurred in February, and I haven't been able to find any more news on the case. She did make bail but I don't know how the case is proceeding.
The screenshot shows her husband Loren Leveque on TPiR in 2007. Fortunately, he was not severely injured in the incident. He managed to calm his wife down, then drove to the emergency room for treatment. Bad stuff happens, even involving people who were part of game show history.
