UMass Football News--September 4th, 2019

The Southern Illinois website has game notes for the Minutemen game. Saluki HC Nick Hill was the starting QB for Southern Illinois in their 2007 victory over Don Brown's UMass team. Hill passed for 216 yard and three TD's against the Minutemen defense. That was the last time UMass would appear in the FCS playoffs. Liam Coan passed for 421 yards, but could not complete the comeback after the Salukis jumped out to a 20-7 lead in the first quarter.
