Not all the winners are big-time million-dollar earners. Some of the people in the story won as little as twenty grand or so. And the most famous recent winner, Jeopardy's James Holzhauer, doesn't turn up in the story until the end. He's love to visit Sicily with a little of the money, by the way.
Several winners talk about charitable donations, which is nice. By and large, though, most of the folks in the story seem interested in socking away money for an investment nest egg. Makes sense. You can't rely on winning big on another game show.
