I'm told the movie falls into so-bad-it's-good territory. I've only seen a few bits and pieces, and they were good for unintentional chuckles. Vanna has dabbled in other cinematic efforts, most notably one of the Naked Gun flicks. She's also helped produce a few short films that nobody outside of IMDb has ever heard of.
But now she's working as an exec on a full-length movie called Electric Jesus (honest). The linked story explains: "The movie follows a group of teens in a Christian Hair Metal Band during the summer of 1986."
I'm not too familiar with Christian hair metal bands, but Vanna's working in Columbus, GA right now on the film. She likes the location. "People are so friendly and nice and kind and awesome. It's great. This is a great place to do a movie."
They're filming for twenty days in Columbus. No word on a debut date for the movie.
