Now it's official. Bravo will reboot the series with tapings set this summer and a debut later in the year. The linked story says the cab will be "updated," whatever that means. There will also be more pop culture questions. Which is not much of a surprise considering the difference between old home Discovery and new home Bravo.
Anybody who reads this blog knows that I'm a hopeless fan of Cash Cab. I still watch the weekend repeats on GSN and kick myself (not literally) when I miss a bonus round question. Discovery tried reviving the show in 2017, but ratings were modest. Maybe Bravo figures they can up the numbers with a few tweaks.
The rubber-faced Ben found the gig of his life behind the wheel of his ubiquitous taxi. He'll get a chance to quiz more passengers on a new network.
