I figured that sooner or later ABC would hire a female host for one of their game show rewinds, just to keep the critics at bay. Which means that the ambiguous Andy Richter tweet wasn't about the host gig on PYL. Who knows what he was talking about?
The closest thing I could find to game show experience on Elizabeth Banks' IMDb page was a celeb role on ABC's Gong Show. But we all have to start somewhere in the genre. PYL's format may be a little more demanding on the host than other game shows because the gameplay is essentially nothing but hitting a button at random (unless you're Michael Larson). We'll see how she does.
