How to get onto a game show

Guess what. Casting directors for game shows are not looking for people who admit: "I don't really have a lot of interesting hobbies, I'm sort of an introvert."

Yeah, that's probably not the smartest thing to say if you want to get on The Price is Right. A pop culture site has some more helpful hints from someone at an agency which looks for contestants. You should "stand out" and "know the show." Fair enough. If you blend into the wallpaper and are clueless about the rules of the game, you're probably not gonna get picked.

Another idea is that "money motivates." The lady from the talent agency wonders why more people don't try for the easy money that game shows offer. Well, a lot of people do try out, as the Wheelmobile folks could tell you. But some people are introverted and don't have interesting hobbies. So the money isn't the biggest deal to them.
