An example: this story from Redbook about notable game show contestants. I had no idea that the venerable women's magazine was still with us. I'm not sure how the paper magazine is doing, but the web site is up and running. Unfortunately, their list of game show players badly needs one update.
Redbook recognizes Roger Craig, the redoubtable Jeopardy contestant, as holding the "record for the highest single-game total of $77,000." To be fair, this was true until a few weeks ago. Some other guy has come along since then, and he's buried that record so deep that nobody can even locate the grave.
I knew most of the other contestants listed by Redbook, though the Sass clan on Family Feud was new to me. Sometimes people just screw up in the fast money round. It's that lousy clock.
