The network has now put out a press release confirming that Ken will be one of the show's resident experts. He'll battle it out with civvie contestants beginning on June 10 at 4:00 PM. Which means the show will replace the frayed reruns of Dylan Lane's Chain Reaction on weekday afternoons.
This seems to be GSN's method of operation lately. The network launches new originals in the afternoon to see if they have enough ratings punch for a prime time slot. America Says and Common Knowledge passed the test. Caroline & Friends didn't.
Jennings obviously gives Best Trivia Show Ever instant credibility. This isn't his first dance with GSN. He occasionally appeared on the interstitial show the network used to run in the afternoons. (I forget its name.) He would answer questions submitted by viewers. Big surprise: he usually got them right.
For all his other efforts, Ken is mostly known for that game show with Alex. So now he's got a chance with another quizzer, along with a bunch of lesser-known trivia mavens. Good luck.
