Mommy!

HQ may have gone way part its peak, but the imitators keep coming. Economists would point to the low barriers to entry.

One more knockoff is School'd by Scary Mommy, which at least has a catchy title. The kicker is that you're supposed to be a mom before you can play. How they check this, I don't know. The hosts are a couple of NYC comedians named Brittney Jenkins and Kami Dimitrova. No word on if they're mommies themselves.

The questions are lifestyle and goofy, which you would expect from the show's title. The audience numbers on the screenshots are not impressive, but we all gotta start somewhere, no? One category I can identify with is Hangry Games (food). Right now my appetite is still dormant after hernia surgery. But sooner or later I'll get back to eating.

I have a sinking feeling that this mom game won't survive for long in the brutal sub-genre of live mobile app game shows. They come and go like houseflies. But I'll wish the best to the mommy game.
