Wanna be the next Ken Jennings?

There have been a lot of stories about Jeopardy's long and winding road for wannabe contestants.

This article sums up the process pretty well. The online registration, the online test, the in-person interview, and - we hope against hope! - the final glorious invite to the studio. The story gives some tips from former Jeopardy contestant Chris Wong, which seem pretty obvious. Like you should dress for the part if you make it to the in-person audition.

And it doesn't help to come off as an obnoxious know-it-all. As Chris puts it: They're not looking for the smartest people in the room. They're looking for people who will make for the best show.

This is TV, after all, where snooty know-it-alls tend to come off pretty badly. If you do make it to the studio for a shot at fleeting fame and more permanent riches, Chris advises that you should just be the "best, most interesting version of yourself." Come to think about it, that's what I try to do on this blog. You can decide if I succeed.
