Guess what. People were complaining about too much Harvey Feud. I think these complaints got stuck on overdrive a while ago, and we can't dial them back without breaking the Internet.
Of course, it would take an idiot - and the Internet has a generous supply - not to notice that GSN has axed dozens of time slots from Steve over the past few months. Those slots have mostly gone to GSN's homegrown hits, America Says and Common Knowledge. Unsurprisingly, Joey and Michael get prominent places on the network's Facebook masthead. Steve is nowhere in sight at the top. Fremantle, we want our independence (or at least a little more independence).
By the way, one of the odder complaints concerns Joey's offbeat quizzer...
After watching the show [Common Knowledge] for a while, I don't feel like all of the questions being asked are ones that everyone knows or should.
If everybody knew the answers, there wouldn't be much point in asking the questions, right? This truism should be, er, common knowledge among game show fans. But folks gotta complain about something.
