You can watch the video at the link to hear all the gory details. The most important rule is that each three-person team will put one team member into each round of the game. Which means that one person will only get to face the Final Jeopardy clue. If the poor schlub blows that one clue and loses the game for the team, too bad.
I dunno, I would put my best team member into the Double Jeopardy round and hope for a runaway. Trouble is, how are the teams gonna decide who is their best player? This whole tournament sounds like a recipe for frayed personal relationships among team members.
At least it's a new twist for the hallowed format. Jeopardy has been riding high in the ratings lately, and this stunt might help the numbers even more. See you next Wednesday.
