The Edmonton Eskimos announce today they have signed international quarterback Trevor Harris through the 2020 season.
Harris appeared in 17 games this past season for the RedBlacks where he completed 431 of 615 pass attempts for 5,116 yards and 22 touchdowns. In the East Final, he completed 29 of 32 passes for 367 yards and a CFL playoffs record six touchdowns. In the 105th Grey Cup, Harris completed 20 of 38 passes for 288 yards and one touchdown.
“The Edmonton Eskimos are excited to announce Trevor Harris as our new franchise quarterback,” said Edmonton Eskimos General Manager & VP of Football Operations. “He’s a talented and proven winner who’s shown the ability to lead his team to the Grey Cup.”
