Conor Garland had a scary, yet productive night in Edmonton. He recorded a pair of power-play goals - including one that went in off his face and left him bloodied - as the Arizona Coyotes beat the Oilers 3-2. Garland left for stitches and then returned to score his second of the game in the third period.

The Bruins continue to have the Leafs' number. David Pastrnak snapped a 2-2 tie late in the second period as the Bruins defeated Toronto 3-2. Sean Kuraly had a goal and two assists, and David Krejci also scored for Boston. Tuukka Rask made 30 saves as the Bruins won the season series between the teams 3-1.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are on a tear. Steven Stamkos scored the tiebreaking goal with 5:16 remaining to lead the Lightning to a 5-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres. Nikita Kucherov, Brayden Point, Ondrej Palat and Ryan Callahan also scored for the Lightning, who have won 18 of their last 20.

A potentially big blow for the Washington Capitals. Artemi Panarin scored in overtime for the second consecutive game after Washington lost all-star goaltender Braden Holtby to an eye injury to give the Columbus Blue Jackets a 2-1 victory over the Capitals. Holtby took a stick to the left eye from Cam Atkinson through his mask in the second period, left the game and did not return.

C.J. Anderson rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns, and Todd Gurley rushed for 115 more yards and another TD in the Los Angeles Rams' first playoff victory in 14 years, 30-22 over the Dallas Cowboys in the divisional round on Saturday night.
Patrick Mahomes picked apart the Colts in his post-season debut, the Chiefs defence answered their chorus of critics with a stout performance, and Kansas City rolled to a 31-13 victory over Indianapolis in the divisional round to end 25 years of playoff frustration.

CURLING
Toronto's John Epping made quick work of Sweden's Niklas Edin to earn a spot back in the Canadian Open final in North Battleford.
Epping scored four in the first end and was up 9-1 when the two skips shook hands after only five ends in their tournament semifinal on Saturday.
Epping, who won the Canadian Open in 2016, will face Edmonton's Brendan Bottcher in Sunday's final on the fifth stop of the Grand Slam of Curling circuit.
Bottcher toppled two-time champion Brad Gushue of St. John's N.L., 6-5 in the other semi.
Gushue looked to be on his way back to the championship draw with a 5-4 lead in the final end, but Bottcher scored two to advance.
On the women's side it'll be Ottawa's Rachel Homan going for her second Canadian Open title against Switzerland's Silvana Tirinzoni.
Homan, who won in 2016, beat American Nina Roth 6-4 on Saturday in the semifinals, while Tirinzoni doubled up 2015 champion Eve Muirhead of Scotland 8-4 in the other semi.
The winning teams take home $30,000 from the $125,000 purse on the line in both the men's and women's divisions. A runner-up finish is worth $18,000.
