Thanks to a clutch goal from Kaapo Kakko, Finland has won gold at the world juniors. The 17-year-old, and potential top pick in this year's NHL Draft, scored the game-winner with just under a minute-and-a-half to go in the third period as Finland beat the United States 3-2 in a dramatic final. The Americans had clawed their way back from a two-goal deficit in the third period.

A new career-high for Pascal Siakam. Kawhi Leonard and Siakam each scored 30 points, and the Raptors beat the Milwaukee Bucks 123-116 in a matchup of the top two teams in the NBA standings. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 43 points and 18 rebounds for Milwaukee.

The Spurs are climbing up the Western Conference standings. Derrick White scored 19 points, LaMarcus Aldridge added 18 and the Spurs overcame a sluggish start to beat the Memphis Grizzlies 108-88. San Antonio won for the 12th time in 15 games and is 4-and-a-half games out of first in the Western Conference.

James Harden's 40-point game streak is over. Harden finished with 38 points, falling just short of his sixth straight game with 40 or more, as the Portland Trail Blazers snapped the Houston Rockets' six-game winning streak with a 110-101 victory. Jusuf Nurkic had 25 points and 15 rebounds for Portland.

The two-time MVP scored 20 of his 42 points in the fourth quarter and had 10 3-pointers, and the Golden State Warriors held on to beat the Sacramento Kings 127-123. Kevin Durant added 29 points, nine assists and five rebounds, and Klay Thompson scored 20 points to help the Warriors complete a three-game sweep of the season series.
