The switch away from TBS, a comedy network where Joker's Wild was reasonably successful, to a drama/sports network like TNT never made any sense. Another brilliant decision by some hot-shot exec. Joker was no runaway hit but it did respectable numbers on TBS.
The last original ep of Joker on TBS got 819K viewers and a 0.30 18-49 rating. Those were pretty typical numbers for the show on the network. So the viewer total and the demo rating both fell off a cliff when the show moved to TNT. Joker's Wild is just ridiculously out of place in TNT's drama and sports lineup. It's hard to imagine what Turner execs were thinking when they booted the show off TBS.
