Since then Fremantle has nailed Buzzr onto every streaming service in the civilized world. Now that Sinclair has launched Stirr, the latest foray into the brave new OTT world, Buzzr has landed there, too.
I went to the Stirr site and located Buzzr - it wasn't non-trivial to find the feed - but there was nothing except an error message when I tried to watch the diginet. No problem for me. There's always Buzzr's own website or channel 1261 on my local Spectrum service. Have to admit that I don't watch a ton of Buzzr, but I like Password Plus/Super Password now and then. GSN satisfies my Match Game appetite.
The big question: is Buzzr really expanding its audience with all these online options? The only hard numbers are from the Twitch feed. It's not identical to the actual network lineup, though most of the shows are the same. As I type, Buzzr on Twitch is playing Ray Combs' Family Feud to a massive throng of 56.
Are the other online outlets doing much better? Well, right now the Stirr site probably isn't delivering Buzzr to anybody, unless they fixed the error.
