It used to be that the Feud contestant seekers would roll into town and set up public shop in some large auditorium. A zillion families would then turn out for a massive cattle call. Nowadays the auditions are hush-hush invitation-only affairs, after a select number of families have made it through an online screening process.
A case in point is the Phoenix, AZ audition coming up January 19-20. Family Feud is definitely not letting on where it will happen...
In order to attend the in-person tryouts, you must first make an appointment online.
It sounds like making an appointment with the doctor. Only the Feud audition should be more fun, I hope. As always, the show is looking for families with "energy, enthusiasm and an ability to play the game." Hey, it's not like this is Jeopardy and you have to know a lot. You only have to guess how other average folks answered silly survey questions. What could be easier?
Just make an appointment first.
