Weird

Gotta admit, this is one of the stranger things I've seen on the game show Interwebs lately.

A number of posters on GSN's Facebook page actually took time off from the incessant bash-Steve crusade to complain about...Bill Cosby, of all people. This is a typical (and obscene) example. Well, it's probably beyond most Facebook commenters to understand, but cable carriers do mix up shows and network feeds once in a while. That's apparently what happened on July 3, when one or more cable systems switched into GSN's rerun of The Chase with a rerun of The Cosby Show.

No, GSN hasn't suddenly gone all TV One. For what it's worth TV One is running Cosby ten times on July 5. So you Cosby-phobes should rant at that cable outlet. You can even dust off the usual whines about too much Steve Harvey on GSN and adapt them for too much Bill Cosby on TV One.

I'm no fan of Cosby myself, but I can assure everybody that GSN hasn't leased his show. The pdf schedules for the next couple weeks are Cosby-free, as is the online GSN schedule. It was just a cable carrier screw-up, folks. I know, even the game show Interwebs should have realized that. But we can't expect too much.
