Meanwhile, I'll reprint something I posted in the comments, plus a schedule note...The show's promos make it look like a cutesy video show that should appeal to GSN's old-skewing, female-skewing audience. At least it seems like a lot better fit for its network than Paid Off on truTV.
The online GSN schedule says that Caroline & Friends will now get a repeat slot on weekdays at 7:00 AM starting July 30. Not exactly a great slot, but GSN was obviously surprised at the show's good numbers. I haven't gotten the pdf schedule for the July 30 week yet. Maybe they were holding off to see how the new show did.
Wouldn't you know, Game Show Paradise is p.o.ed that GSN will now run Match Game only 15 times a week instead of 20. I'm as big a Match Game fan as anybody, but between GSN and Buzzr, the show will still get ninety-seven runs a week. How much of it does anybody need? Even on Buzzr's Facebook page, there are some complaints about too much Match Game.
