Calgary dropped a 36-23 decision to the visiting BC Lions last week while Saskatchewan has not seen game action since a 35-12 road loss to the Esks back on May 27.
The Red and White have come out victorious in their last four pre-season meetings with the Riders, with three of those contests having been played in Regina.
Former Stampeders Charleston Hughes and Jerome Messam are expected to make their season debuts for Saskatchewan. As for Calgary, veterans Shane Bergman, DaVaris Daniels, Cordarro Law, Julan Lynch, Alex Singleton, Brandon Smith, Adam Thibault and Jamar Wall will all be making their first appearances of 2018.
Last season, the Stamps went 2-1 against the Roughriders in regular-season action and came out on top during their lone visit to Saskatchewan.
Week 1 for Calgary will see the Hamilton Tiger-Cats come to town on Saturday, June 16. The Riders will get their regular season underway at home on Friday, June 15 when the Toronto Argonauts head west.
