Survey says

A few posts ago I mentioned filling out the Buzzr survey on their Facebook page. Happened by Game Show Forum today, and sure enough, there's a thread about the survey. Little goes on at our oldies diginet without the oldies boards taking notice.

As you should expect, the GSF posters want more old stuff on Buzzr. Barker The Price is Right is a fave pick. I figured that more oldies would be the default choice of most of the survey-takers, so I countered with requests for newer stuff in my answers. I even committed the ultimate heresy of suggesting Harvey Feud for the channel. Horrors!

Some of the GSF posters complain about the length of the survey. That's not surprising when you consider the average attention span on the board. The survey does pester you for lots of personal info they can wave at advertisers, though Buzzr's range of sponsors appears limited. Old folks stuff and charities, plus some cheap direct-response operations. And Liberty Mutual. This retired actuary sees the one-time work comp specialist all over cable nowadays.
