Buzzr's virtues?

Game Show Paradise is always good for some laughs.

Usually the oldies board gives Buzzr a pass for just about anything the diginet does. For older-is-better folks, Buzzr is the fair-haired child compared to evil sibling GSN. Lately, though, the GSP natives are getting restless about the diginet goofing the starting times of some shows. To be honest, I'm amazed that the little-watched Buzzr stays on the air at all, no matter when they start their shows.

The iron-fisted moderator of Game Show Paradise cracks down on the grumbling about Buzzr with a sour warning. Some of you need to just chill out. I don't think "let's all pitchfork Buzzr" is going to help. Of course, this moderator also started the "Hate Harvey Feud" thread, so apparently pitchforks are just fine sometimes.

One of the odder comments in the thread praises the supposed virtues of Buzzr. We get great things out of [Buzzr] like zero time compression, original commercials on the b/w shows, complete closing credits, and mid-show plugs. The only moderately good thing on this list is "zero time compression," though I frankly don't care about the imperceptible practice.

But this guy really likes all those ads that Buzzr leaves in the shows? Those old commercials drag out the B&W shows to a ridiculous forty-minute length. The fee plugs are also annoying and I mute them as soon as they make their loud appearance.

Closing credits are okay, I guess, though I never watch them. At least they're better than those charity ads that Buzzr runs over and over.
