GSN meets Investigation Discovery

So I'm watching Baggage on GSN late last night (or early this morning). This is one of my guilty pleasures. I even put the show on my top 50 list.

This ep had a guy choosing among three lovely ladies. The lovelies had lots of baggage, of course, but the guy's secret turned out to be a doozy: "I dated a female serial killer." This got my attention because female serial killers are notoriously rare.

So I started hunting around Google to see if this baggage was real or just some game show fiction. (Such storytelling wouldn't exactly be a violation of the anti-rigging statute, so GSN might have tried some silliness.) Anyway, I couldn't find any confirmation of such a serial killer, though one column on the show mentioned this particular ep.

Assuming the murderer is real - a major assumption - this would have made a great ep on Investigation Discovery. The man on Baggage talked about how law enforcement people met him to identify the woman involved. ID probably wouldn't have been able to resist showing the guy's turn on the dating show.

But again, this assumes the story is true. I have my doubts.
