Regina scored their first goal of the series when Sam Steel set up Cameron Hebig in front, he went backhand and scored his first goal to make it 1-0 and that was the score after one.
There were no goals in the second but in the third, Regina went up 2-0 when Hebig put home a one timer from the left circle on the powerplay for his second of the night. Swift Current got one back with 12:48 left but Regina held on from there for the 2-1 win.
Cameron Hebig and Sam Steel led the offence with two point nights while Ryan Kubic made 32 saves.
Regina was outshot 33-32, the powerplay went one for five and the penalty kill seven for seven.
