In an age where automakers are fighting over which marque builds the toughest pickup trucks, seeing something like this can be very cringe-worthy.

The mishap occurred in Chachoengsao, Thailand, where the driver of this Ford pickup actually thought he was going to successfully carry all those bamboo logs up an incline. The only thing he ended up doing was creating one big mess.

We’re not sure how much weight the truck was carrying on top, but it was definitely enough to stop it in its tracks on the first attempt – which is how the video kicks things off.

It’s with the second attempt where things go horribly wrong, as the truck does make it further up the ramp, although at a pretty big cost. We’ll also go out on a limb and say that those logs weren’t properly secured, judging by how easily they slipped out.

In the end, the lesson here is to always secure your payload, and maybe make sure you have enough horsepower to make it up any sort of incline you might encounter along the way. Otherwise, you’ll just end up making the type of video that tends to end up on Tosh.0.
