Speculation comes true for once

I posted this as an update but it deserves its own entry. A couple days ago I speculated that if GSN's oldies block on Saturday night survives at all, it will become all Match Game and Dawson Feud. I swear this was only speculation. I don't have any secret (or not so secret) sources at GSN. But sometimes even the wild blue stuff comes true. 

GSN just sent out the pdf schedule for the week of February 12-18. The cover note says that for one night GSN will become Buzzr. Well, actually it says...

Starting Saturday, February 17th and going forward the schedule for the Saturday Night Classic Block will be as follows:

8:00pm Match Game 
8:30pm Match Game 
9:00pm Match Game 
9:30pm Match Game 
10:00pm Dawson Family Feud 
10:30pm Dawson Family Feud

This block does look a lot like Buzzr, with its eight hours a day of Match Game and Dawson Feud. If you're gonna run oldies, you might as well run the big name oldies, not the obscurities beloved on the game show Interwebs.
