The idea is for contestants to be "black enough" in the view of the studio audience. Otherwise, your "black card" gets revoked. You can probably figure where this show is going.
Funny thing, the first question was nonracial. Host Tony Rock asked the celebs and civvies - there were three teams of one of each - how long it takes to make a to-go plate at a family barbecue. I think "right now" got the nod from the audience, so one team got fifty points. I didn't bother to watch the second question.
Rock hosted in a talkative style. But everybody else also talked too flipping much. It was a lot more of a talk show than a game show, in fact. One of the civvies confessed that she liked Shakespeare. I don't know if they revoked her black card on the spot, and I didn't care.
UPDATE: Black Card Revoked draws so-so numbers by BET prime time standards. 332K viewers and a 0.13 18-49 rating.
