Ratings: GSN stays in the top 30

The syndie ratings aren't out yet for the latest week, but TV Newser did post the January 15-21 cable numbers. GSN had another good week.

Our little game show network got 422K/319K viewers prime time/total day. That second number was good enough for 27th among cable nets. In prime time GSN ranked 39th. The effort to establish Millionaire and Saturday night oldies in prime time may be costing a few rating points. Though the 400K+ number is just fine by GSN's usual standards.

TV Newser also posted the 25-54 demo numbers. Not quite the Sacred Demo of 18-49, but not as old as the "coming demo" (in my opinion) of 35-64. Anyway, GSN got 101K/68K viewers prime time/total day in the demo. Any figure on the right side of 100K is great for the old-skewing GSN.

The network always ranks higher in household ratings than in total viewers. GSN doesn't have the wide reach that many other cable nets enjoy. This week the network ranked 32nd and 25th prime time/total day in household rating.
