More sincerest flattery

Guess what, another HQ knockoff has joined the fray in live online game show apps. This new copycat comes from an outfit called Live.me, and the title is QuizBiz. Not the most original moniker, but it's not the most original show. In fact, QuizBiz is almost a clone of HQ, with the by now standard elimination string of multiple-choice questions. How creative can you get?

Twitter offers a glimpse of the show and a couple of the questions. I goofed on Rome, but it was a sneaky query. By the way, nasty rumors are making the rounds on the web about the two creators of HQ. This looks like a media black ops effort to me, designed to take down the original game show app. The rumors are long on innuendo and short on fact, which really alerts my b.s. detector. We'll see if anything comes of the ugliness.

Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of trivia freaks will play on. It looks like they will have a multitude of choices from various imitators.
