From the lack of comments on my posts about
HQ, I get the feeling that you, my loyal and wonderful and all-round swell readers, aren't very interested in the interactive game show.
Problem is, the Internet seems interested in little else. Stories about
HQ and its burgeoning legion of imitators are all over Google News. It's even noteworthy that
HQ's Android version has apparently hit some delays. How will we ever sleep at night? Then there are breathless insights into
host Scott Rogowsky's "cringeworthy" bar mitzvah. Scott, sometimes you just gotta cringe.
Through it all the show just keep growing.
The Christmas ep attracted 730K+ viewers. GSN execs would turn somersaults for those kind of numbers. (A lot of execs at other cable nets would follow with their own calisthenics.)
Then there are the
stories about cheating on
HQ and how to stop cheating on
HQ and whether or not prominent winners on
HQ have cheated. Sometimes I think I'm back in the 1950s with the rigging scandals. Oh well, the saga continues, and your full-service game show blogger will dutifully report on it.
