Sweet stuff

It's the day after Thanksgiving, and I've decided not to be my usual cynical self. So this item about a seven-year-old superfan of The Price is Right is just the ticket.

Jackson Woodworth of Bangor, ME is the ultimate TPiR fanatic. He's built decent replicas of a lot of pricing games at his home, and he knows his stuff when it comes to pricing merchandise. "I've been to The Price is Right Live twice and once I got the showcase exactly right."

Jackson, I couldn't get the price of a postage stamp exactly right, so kudos to you. Jackson's personal Plinko board is particularly impressive, almost as good as the real thing. (It doesn't have all the electronic whizbangery of The Wall's knockoff, though.)

Our seven-year-old aficionado is also a Drew Carey partisan. He even commits the heresy - weep, Golden Road! - of preferring the incumbent host to the legendary Bob Barker. But Jackson admits he's not overly familiar with Mr. Barker. After all, Bob left the show three years before Jackson was born.
