Apparently the Peacock Net (warning, Variety speak) will run a preview of the show in December. Deadline Hollywood thinks that Game of Games might get its regular bow in January, maybe along with Genuis Junior, the kids quizzer.
The show's official page on the NBC site doesn't give any dates, just a "coming soon" tag. Game of Games looks like a souped-up version of Ellen DeGeneres' daytime game segments, something of a quizzer-stunt combo. The NBC blurb promises Ellen's "mischievous and hilarious antics" and her "witty and comedic sensibility."
I've never been a big fan but Ellen does bring a built-in fanbase, which should at least help the show get decent sampling whenever it arrives. Game on.
