The experience is soft, sweet and cloying. An example is this story about the bad moms of movie semi-fame appearing on The Price is Right. Everybody has nice things to say about the oh-so-wonderful experience. Of course, their turn on the show was really just a plug for the bad moms' new Christmas movie, due November 1. (Cue standard complaints about Christmas coming earlier each year).
I also noticed that the People blurb didn't mention, much less quote, any civvie contestants on TPiR. Civvies are just the little people who help make this celeb journalism possible. But I got a civvie into the screenshot because, after all, game shows are supposed to be about contestants. Except when game shows are about plugging Christmas movies that arrive a month early.
