Interweb legends

A while back I noted that Fremantle has put a lot of their Buzzr oldies on Amazon Prime's video service.

The ever busy game show Interwebs have now taken to discussing why certain shows aren't available on Amazon. Rumors seem to swirl around the absence of Let's Make a Deal, in particular.

The linked thread makes myth about the LMAD omission, and recounts other yarns about our little genre. There's a funny note that Bob Barker apparently had a lot of say in picking The Price is Right eps for a DVD set, though a couple eps with Dian Parkinson slipped through because everybody forgot she was on them.

Sounds like a great story, no? And it might even be true or sort of true, or maybe it's a complete fable to explain why Dian would turn up on the DVD. Anyway, legends about game shows lead a lively existence on the Interwebs, though one poster on the linked thread probably has the best reaction to them: So at this point, I really don't know what to think.
