REGINA -- The Roughriders held their final practice of the week on Tuesday morning and afterwards HC & GM Chris Jones announced WR Rob Bagg and KR Chad Owens will miss Thursday's season-opening game at Montreal.
There are online reports Owens has been placed on the 6-game Injured List.
Bagg was injured in a practice at Saskatoon's SMF Field after Preseason Game 1.
Also on Tuesday, the team released non-import receiver Joshua Stanford and import linebacker Myke Tavarres.
The Riders will hold a walk-through on Wednesday in Montreal.
