First off, quarterback Vince Young did not participate in the workout as he recovers from a hamstring injury suffered on Tuesday's Day 10.
Roughrider Head Coach & GM Chris Jones revealed that Young has been ruled out of Saturday's home preseason game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (7:00 pm, 620 CKRM).
Also, the Riders announced a trade:
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have acquired national wide receiver/defensive back Denzel Radford from the Montreal Alouettes in exchange for national offensive lineman Matt Vonk.
Radford (6’1 – 198) was selected by the Montreal Alouettes in the 6th round (48th overall) of the 2017 CFL Draft.
Previously, the 23-year-old spent two seasons at the University of Calgary. Radford played 18 conference games while with the Dinos, spending time as both a receiver and defensive back.
The Roughriders also announced the following roster moves:
