Several recruiting services indicate UMass has offered to Malik Besseck, a 6-5 280 pound OT from ASA Junior college, Brooklyn, NY

Beyond his current offers, Besseck is receiving interest from several other Big Ten, SEC and ACC programs. Not that he’s honing in on a particular conference.
“Conference doesn’t really matter to me. It’s where I feel best. I want to go to a program with great coaches where they all want to win, and find a school with a great education so I can get a good degree,” Besseck said."
Besseck has 20 FBS offers including numerous Power Five schools. UMass is his only offer from the Northeast.
